Seep

I am not soft.
I let the cement
Seep into the
Cracks and fill
The emptiness.
Self-flagellate
All fragility.
Vulnerability
Buried alive.
Little black
Stitches
To seal the
Sickness
In the thick
Of this fractured
Tenderness.
Cauterize
A mind
Weaponized
Against
A fate that
Forged by fire
Kindness into
A cruel blade.
A certain
Blindness
From letting
The light in
Against a
Sentient and
Bitter dark.
